Along with our desktop, mobile, and tablet apps, you can play Spotify from the comfort of your browser on our web player.
I had to update within the Spotify plugin to 1.0.2 Now it shows 1.1.58 Spotify now works on Kodi, but Spotify Connect is not complete. Spotify Connect is necessary to control the device when it is setup as a blind music player (in my case). You can currently only start/stop or navigate previous/next song. Spotify Web Player may not be perfect, as the above guide shows, but with a few tweaks and a few creases ironed out, it does a pretty good job as a stand-in for the full-fledged app. Its redesign earlier in the year has made it resemble the Spotify app much more, too, which is a welcome change. The same browser, just different OS, but I can't run it in Raspberry Pi. OK, then I change to use Chromium. After I enter Spotify web player page, and it redirect to main page i mmediately. What the fxxk is this? It can't work on Firefox and Chromium on Raspberry pi. And it can't also install Spotify on Raspberry pi.
You can access the entire Spotify catalog and use many of the same features offered by our app, including:
The web player is supported by the following web browsers:
To get Spotify on Apple Watch, you’ll need: iPhone running iOS 12 or above. Apple Watch on watchOS 5.2 or above. Note: Make sure you’ve paired your Apple Watch to your iPhone with Bluetooth. All you need for Spotify to show on your Apple Watch is the Spotify app installed on your iPhone and an account with us. Just open it on.
Not working?
If it's still not working for you, try listening on the desktop app instead.
